Ikorodu United, a new promoted Nigerian premier league side have sent strong messages that they are ready for their position at the exclusive league when the 2015/2016 season begins on February 21. It was an amazing goal from Francis Shedrack that helped Ikorodu United secure the promotion to the league and also defeating Ekiti United finally sealed the deal to get the last slot into the Nigerian Professional Football League(NPFL)
The Launching was yesterday and it was attended by the chairman of the club Adewunmi Ogunsanya and other members of the Board. It was disclosed that it started like a joke and now its a full blown reality. The club was founded in 2014.
The team will start their campaign at the Elite league against Abia Warriors on February 21.
